Bass Studios is structured around the concept of keeping the digital conversion at the absolute end of the tracking process.
In the control room, plug in directly to the crisp tone of the Focusrite Octopre Platinum preamp, or saturate and compress with the Universal Twin-finity preamp. Also found in the control room is the unique Yamaha CP25 electric keyboard and clav, the trustworthy Kurzweil K2700 synthesizer, as well as the house drum kit or drum area. Tracking is done in Protools; the interface brain is a Behringer UMC1820 8-input interface, with a Behringer ADA8200 preamp rack synced: 16 total inputs available at once.
In the live room, up to four monitor mixes are available, but its tracking uses are endless: get that classic large room sound naturally on your vocals or drums; mic up your favorite amp and track your solos from the comfort of the control room recliner; you can even bring your whole band.
When mixing at Bass Studios, Brady will mix both with and without the client per client's choice. Both Protools and Logic Pro X are available.
When you have the sound you want, take it home to mix in your DAW, share with your engineer, or book time with Brady to mix at Bass Studios.Â
